Dome Light Wiring

I have got some led's and i want to wire them up so that when i open the doors, they come on with the dome light(s). But i dont really want to take out the ceiling upholstery, does anyone know a more convenient place that i can tap into the dome light wires from.

I found it, it goes up the right hand side wind screen pillar, it is a red cable with a green stripe and silver dots (-) and (+) is a the red cable
