My comments from post 8 disappeared. Not wanting to drill a hole in the door I mounted my camera on the centre brake light housing inside the car. It's OK for reversing but I can't see the towball for hitching up a trailer.

Hi, if possible, could you send me a photo of the view/image you get from the camera at that angle? I'm looking for a mounting point that's central and gives me a view that allows me to clear the edges of both sides of the rear bumper, to park in a tight parking spot in the apartment (between a car and a building pillar).
I'm thinking of installing a bracket that extends from the rear spare tyre mount till the centre, originally designed to mount flag poles for offroading, but can accommodate a reverse camera too. My camera has a viewing angle of 170 degrees.
