Hi there,
FIrst, any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I thank you in advance for your time offering your information.
I have a 96 TX Prado that i have installed a remote locking system in, however, i have discovered upon doing so, that the motor of the central locking system appears not to work on the drivers side door. All other door locks work. I figured that the likely issue is that the drivers door central locking motor had failed, but on replacing the central locking mechanism with a replacement unit, same thing happened. So, either both units have failed, or there is an issue else where . I am certain central locking exists in the vehicle as my dad has one (albeit a 97 model) and his works the way it should...So, im after any advice as to how i can test where the failure is. If anyone has access to a wiring schematic such that i can test whats going on.. Im not an autoelectrician, but have a fairly good understanding of electrical systems.. Any help greatly appreciated
