Heater control lighting

Can some one explain how to change the globes for the heater controls none of them are working in my '98

I've got a similar problem. You have to remove the facia around the radio and heater controls, then remove the radio and then you can get to the screws holding the heater control unit in. However, to get to the rear of the control unit you have to disconnect the control cables and it was at this point that I gave up as I couldn't get enough access to be confident I'd be able to disconnect and then reconnect them without it turning into a nightmare.

I also couldn't find any info on what style or size the globes were and couldn't be bothered going through the process of pulling it all apart to remove a globe, then reassembling everything, taking the globe to Toyota, then waiting for them to order the parts in (probably from overseas), then going through the whole process of disassembly and reassembly again. So I've learnt to live with it, as painful as it is at night. Perhaps someone else can be a little more helpful.
