cigarette lighter issues

Just fixing up the minor imperfections of my Prado before a trip to Fraser.
The Cigarette Lighter at the rear and the left hand side one at the front don't work .
I tested the wires going to the one at the rear with no luck.
Where should i start looking?
the fuse is fine as the 1 out of 3 work.

I think you will find the rear socket and the LHF one are on 1 fuse and the RHF socket is fused separately. 3 sockets on 1 fuse would be potentially too much load. So keep looking at the fuses champ!

Found last night two blown fuses,
Didn't have any mini fuses at home but i guess i will have to go buy a few.
They are 20A in the engine bay fuse box.
The are labled as power supply not cig.
They work......

Didn't have any mini fuses at home but i guess i will have to go buy a few.
They are 20A in the engine bay fuse box.

good to know what is going on.

I recommend you buy a whole box of fuses which can give you 150 fuses from 5amp to 30amp with both small and big size. You will see this box is very handy with your Prado, especially if you like upgrading electric parts in your car. Or it is very useful on a long trip.

The box is only about $20 from my memory. It is much better than buying some fuses on demand with some bucks.

Same issue I replaced all fuses in front engine bay yellow 20amps, the RRPower is right rear, LRPOWDR OPERATES LIGHTS AND AUX PLUG I Tested as per manual with light tester neg to body and probed 2 wires where aux cig plug was blue &other white blue lit other didn't I'm assuming blue is positive white negative as my plug died and I'm replacing it with a 12v/120w plug with a fuse do I put red to blue & black to white? Aux plug definitely died will this idea work? As I'm running a fridge, and battery charger.
