Hi all,
I recently bought a 2000 Prado VX Diesel. Now the car had a jap-import motor replacement late November 2010 and I replaced the turbo about a month ago. As far as I know that is all that was replaced. After starting difficulties when suddenly turned off, I put recently reconditioned injectors in to try and solve the starting issue, this seemed to work.
Now, I put the car on a lift two days ago, removed the wheel to check the brakes, tuned the actuator on the turbo and now it wont start. Using the engine workshop manual i checked every electronic sensor/switch working the fuel system except the throttle position sensor - everything is working perfectly but I'm not getting any fuel to the injectors. Even after manually powering the fuel pump solenoid there is still no fuel.
Any help please!!
Erik
