Hard to start.

Hi all. This is my first atempt at submiting a thread. I have a 2001 3lt turbo diesel Grande and I am towing a 21ft. van. Speedo has just reached 190000 ks.and was starting to blow black smoke. I am currently in Bundaberg, but was back in hometown Sydney and decided to have Injectors and glow plugs serviced. Since having this work done the engine is reluctant to start. It starts eventually but not as responsive as it was. Anyone had this problem

Mate, are you still in Bundy? I live there and have had starting problems in the past. I went to Diesel Injection Technology

If I remember correctly, the owner is Glen. He sorted mine, was very thorough and very reasonable in terms of charging me. He may even have my old injector pump that died because of (locally) contaminated fuel. I've got a thread somewhere on this forum.
