Prado 10 blade fans

Hi,

I have a toyota surf and I'm having some issues with cooling. I've installed a winch and have a pair of Lightforce lights on the bar. Just recently I've heard of someone fitting a 10 blade Prado fan to their Surf and this has greatly increases the airflow through the radiator and solved most of his cooling problems. I've been to Toyota to ask about the 10 blade fans but it appears that they don't have them as a part anymore. So I'm asking all Prado owners whether they have any knowledge of the 10 blade fans existence and where I would be able to buy one of these from.

Not the first person I've heard of cooking their engine after putting on the big-boy Lightforces on the front...?

I would be just getting the radiator rebuilt to suit the cooling cpacity you need.

I have had one of mine increased from a twin row to a three row, and the thing never gets hot now.

Alloy core radiators do work also, but at a cost.
