  • Big puff of black smoke

Yesterday after getting caught out by the tides at Teewah, we had to slog back on the soft/rutted stuff. It took about 30 minutes of keeping the revs up in high range and I wasn't really watching the EGT gauge. After we got off the beach I aired up, and when we pulled away it felt a bit sluggish (it was fine on the beach), so I gave it a quick boot full and there was a huge plume of black smoke. I did it again another couple of times and by the 3rd time there was hardly any smoke at all. On the way home it did seem a bit under powered, and up the hills it was getting hotter than normal (on the EGT gauge). Anyone have any ideas about what might have happened?

maybe you need your Tunit chip remapping now??
