Heard some good reports about West End Diesel at Wetherill Park, does any body have any good/bad experiences with them, or alternatively can reccomend someone closer to home (Castle Hill)

      Re: servicing injectors and pump

One more question, I seem to be blowing more smoke, Sitting at traffic lights the diesel fummes get quite strong in the cabin, It doesn't happen if the A/C is on recirculate with windows up. the back door is quite dirty just like my old diesel hilux got when the injectors needed doing (i sold it instead of doing them) I didn't touch any of the exhaust and have checked all the fittings and they are not leaking. When doing the injectors I also put new air filter and fuel filter in it. Does the ciomputer need to be reset? if so how is it done? or is there something else I need to do?
It appears to be over fuelling as I am now blowing some black smoke (it wasm't before)
Any feed back would be greatly appreciated

      regards

      Gerry

          Re: servicing injectors and pump

i'd suspect that injector cracking pressure is set wrong (too low) thereby letting too much fuel in and having a lasy shut off

You didn't leave a rag in the inlet did you (seen it done before)

You said you checked all the fittings, does that include all the electical connections esp on IC and for glow plugs?
