Sounds like a good plan you have for it, we got ours as a camping and 4wd vehicle. Have not kitted it out much as we have a camper trailer but for shorter trips that would be useful.
Just make sure you recheck the ATF in a few hundred km. I assume you did the top up with the engine running?
