Hey huts
My 90 series has been struggling a bit with the heat, needle was creeping up a bit, replaced fan, thermostat, flushed cooling system.
Had been behaving but recently after driving for only around 15 minutes, towing a light camper trailer the needle shot right up. Pulled over and the overflow reservoir was completely full and the overflow hose was still pushing air out. Let the pressure die off and put the hot coolant back in the rad, turned around and limped home. Borrowed a friend's car for the camping trip then came home and drove around another couple of weeks with no dramas.
Next time I went out on the open road, this time with no trailer the same thing happened.
Read a lot about there being two different heads so pulled the old one off to see which I had. It has the recesses for the valves so will order the appropriate head. I'd like to get a genuine gasket (mine has 4 holes) however amayama states that part number 11115-67040-05 is discontinued and 11115-67050-05 MAY fit. Should I order this part or use aftermarket?
Cheers
