oil light

Have just noticed a couple of months ago that my oil light in the morning engine being cold takes a little longer to go out approx 3-4 seconds where as before it would almost instantly go out as the engine fired up can someone confirm for me how long it takes for their oil light to extinguish, reason i ask is that i have always used Shell Rimula X but at about the same time as the oil light taking longer to extinguish Shell have changed their oil to a Rimula 3R x which they say is the same, have just purchased 10lt of Penrite HPR Diesel 15 to see if that makes a difference.

samo, i have just clocked up 131,000kms tried it this morning again 3-4 seconds before oil light goes out, i will be replacing the oil filter & oil this morning also i purchased some Nulon engine diesel flush maybe there is some crap in the engine.
