3.0Diesel - mech or elec controlled?

hi,
just wondering if the 3.0diesel in the 90series is mechanically injected or electronically controlled?

i knows its a dumb question, but one ponders these things...

a bit of both really,

old school mechanical injection (but not common rail/unit injector stuff) with fuel injection pump (rotary) that is electronically controlled

Hi Dhula. Early 90's mechanical. Later TE's with fly by wire throttle are electronic. Cheers, Derb.
