Hi, I need some advice please. I have a 2000 Deisel Prado.
I have just had the airconditioning serviced and it is nice and cold.
But no matter how high I turn up the fan I don't get the air flow I used to get. The fan appears to work fine. I have taken it out and cleaned it. This achieved a bit more airflow, but still not enough to get sufficient flow to the rear seats.
I have checked the vents from both outside the dash and within the dash for blockages and can't find any, even used a plumbers drain cleaning tool and it went straight through with no interference.
I have inspected the flap to direct air from outside the cabin and to recirculate and it seems to work. :? Toyota mentioned something about replacing two boxes at $1000 each.
I am stumped at the moment. :?:
