  • better fuel economy?

Has anyone had any luck with mods to reduce fuel consumption on a 3.4L? What diffs does a chip and freeflow make on these engines?

First make sure your engine is tuned properly, especially the MAF Sensor hot wire type if you have a later model.
I have a Unichip fitted as well as Pacemaker extractors and modded exhaust, both have been effective.
I have a TRD supercharger fitted and I get better economy now than when normally aspirated so the Unichip and extractors help.

I would go with a set of Pacemakers first as I think they will give the best result for the money.

Also do a search and you will find a lot of posts regarding fuel economy and performance.

Still playing with my homebrew fuel saver .. http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...0-MAF-Adjuster

Economy is better, after a few more tanks and more fine tuning will know by how much on average.
