  • Fuel Filter

I have a 1999 2.7 twin cam Prado and I am having trouble finding it... If I could be pointed in the right direction, that would be awesome.

I want to replace this as I'm having strange starting problems, where sometimes it goes no problems then other times it keeps just trying to click over... it could be the fuel injectors also.

Anyway I'm trying a process of elimination.

    cheers

First go to garage or where you think you last saw your Prado.
If you still can't find it - call the police!!!!!

    Sorry for that Lee!

Try and trace fuel line from the tank to motor - would reckon it should be somewhere in that area.

If it is the same as the Australian 3400 it is under a plastic (protection????) cover, passenger side, about level with the front of the seat. Ken.
