Mate that's on well worn MT ATZs! Have seen 20 L/100 on the open road with the 33" muddies but that was flat cruising. No way could I run them every day!
Will definitely get the HTs on soon ( got 2 more by the way) with my fingers crossed for even a small improvement! I'll let you know how I go.

With my muddies and all the other stuff on the car I get around 15.5-16/100km fairly consistently with a mix of highway and city driving. I find that my fuel economy goes out the window if I go over 100km/hr though.

I'm using muddies, and consistantly get 13ltrs/100km, and that is a combination of HWY and city driving (mainly city), if I just do HWY, it drops down to 11ltrs/100km.

After a fuel injector service we get similar but rarely exceed 100kph where it literally drinks it. Drive it like a truck, softly off the line. I'am amazed how fast city drivers take off to catch a red light???

Trying to get some accurate figures before heading to the cape next month.
Amazing what new plugs, air filter, fuel filter and cleaning the MAF sensor can do. Did the exact same trip weekend just gone, used premium instead of regular ULP and went from 22lts/100km's to 18.5.
Pretty happy with that considering tyres and load.

Just my 2 cents worth....recently did a trip from Perth to Carnarvon (so all Hwy driving as I filled up just outside Perth, however plently of gentle hills and overtaking!). I did 610km before switching to the sub tank. Main tank took 77 lts when filled up next. Therefore roughly 12.6 lt per 100Kms on regular unleaded. I was pretty happy as its the first time I've worked out the fuel consumption.
Also she was fully loaded with camping gear, 2 adults and 2 kids!

Hi ShaneO. That won't be a very accurate indication of fuel consumption. When you run either your main or sub tank the pump supplies more than what the engine requires and the excess fuel is transferred to the tank you're not currently using. So if you used the sub tank for a bit you might find there was a few litres transferred from sub tank to main.

Mine car was consistently getting 18L/100 all of a sudden, (after not checking it for a while) RV6 130,000kms 235/85/16 ST's. Checked/changed the above stuff.... found a couple of spark plugs loose, changed them, half a can of throttle body cleaner, bought some injector cleaner stuff (no idea on the effectiveness of it?) the car is settling down now and got 13.7L/100 in the last tank...

Someone needs to make up a list of what to check before posting about your fuel economy on here! Although it does make you feel better knowing some people are driving around a less economical vehicle...

The biggest difference I noticed was from cleaning the throttle body, the emission control system involves the suction of oilly fumes and blow past from the sump into the throttle body and inlet manifold to be snet throught he motor again. This comes in just before the main butterfly valve on the throttle body. Over time, although there should be very little oilly stuff going through, it builds up on all the intake parts..

Just got back from a weekend in the high country around licola.
Filled up in Traralgon and managed only 191k's from 64litres of LPG.
Car is a petrol 2000 GXL 5sp with injected LPG running 265/75 Wrangler Mud Terrains.
Most of the time I was in 2nd gear low range, with some really steep hill climbs (needed the air lockers every now and then!!) and the car was fully loaded with the usual camping equipment.
Looking to do the same trip using just petrol to see what figures I get - lucky I had the auxilliary petrol tank to get me home!!!

Anyway had anywhere near such bad economy

                                cheers

                                Andy
