  • 90 series spark plug and ignition coil recommendations

    Hi,

Does anyone have a recommendation for buying spark plugs and ignition coils for the 3.4 engine?

Repco are quoting 165 per aftermarket coil (250 for Toyo genuine) and 17 bucks a piece for NGK spark plugs (or 5-10 a piece for Bosch or champion).

I'm in a bit of a fix as I want to try and get the car going asap but does anyone know if any of the ignition coils on eBay are worth while having shipped ? I swear I saw 3 packs of ignition coils for 150 shipped which sounds way too cheap.

Don't have a friend that gets trade price? Usually the Repco stuff is ok. Unfortunately you usually get what you pay for when it comes to eBay electronics for cars.

$75 per coil & $12ea for spark, send me a pm if you want.

I've had a set of the eBay coils on for the last 15 k -no issues at all and we are running dual fuel LPG too, also done the leads and plugs at the same time , manual states coil replacement every 40k
