When I first went to 50 psi from 40 psi the ride wasn't as harsh as I thought it would be. You feel the bumps a tad more but not much if you know what I mean. Any little bit of extra harshness that there is, you get used to very quickly and stop noticing. I haven't noticed any unusual tyre wear after 10,000km. The tread still looks the same. They're certainly not that hard that the centre of the tyre is all that's touching the ground. There's still a bit of a footprint, just a tiny bit less than 40 psi. Previously I always ran the tyres between 38 & 40 for many years.Originally posted by cuda View PostHow is the ride at that pressure? I run mine at 40 but was considering going higher.
Thanks

Towing
Returned from Narooma NSW toward Melbourne. Fuel used as follows:
Narooma to Orbost ( princes hwy ) Mostly hilly & curvy drive. just shy of 20 ltr per 100k
Orbost to Pakenem " " More level run. 17.5 ltr per 100k
Tyres 45 rear 40 front . Air conditioner all time.
Recon would do better when not using aircon. ( stating the obvious )
I guess that's it.
cheers allLast edited by angrymouse; 23-02-2017, 11:32 AM.
