You can try Auto Plus on the Hume Highway. They are about 1 hour south from the CBD and are great!! We had one fitted to a hilux 4x4 and it only costed us after the rebate $400 odd. They are honest and straight forward. The number is 02 4677 2555. Hope this helps!!! Cheers!!!

Got my 2002GXL man converted to liquid injection at the Gas Man in Alexandria a month ago and first fill on the way back from Sydney took 60L for 409 k which to me gives about 450 to a tank. 2nd fill up was 48 for 300+ cant remember excactly but I calulated out at 480 the tank. (68L)
I am more than happy with the consumption. Performance is no different
When starting its runs on petrol for about 2 mins when cold and then switches to gas. I have watched to led lights for the changeover but cannot pick any change in running to indicate a stumble or surge as in my other venturie type conversions.
Apparently the system piggybacks the engine management system so timing is changes to suit hence the improved performance.
Price from GasMan is $4500 and they are very friendly and proffesional and even wrapped up my old 90L petrol tank for me in case it was needed for a future project (wife not impressed)

Got my 2001GXL convertered some time ago by a well known Melbourne store. Worst service and technical knowledge for their product I've ever known. Got the 68 usable litre tank which only takes 58ltr. Fuel usage was sky high. Had countless back fires on start up. Limped home late one night with a roll of electrical tape over the hole in the inlet after a back fire blew off a crappy plastic cap the installer had fitted. Fuel gauge was so far out its not funny. Since replaced plugs numerous times to find the right ones, changed the leads, fitted this back fire valve thingy that saves the air filter and sensor from blowing up, had it dyno'd and leaned out. Best I've ever got was 340km from 58 ltrs on highway driving at 90km/h. Average around town is 20km/l. Since I've fitted the STT's it's even worse. Had the wife's V8 advantra fitted with injected gas by another installer. Brilliant. If I had to do the Prado again, I'd pay the extra two grand and go injected, and a different installer.

Hi Guys,
sorry that i cant help you for sydney but thought that i would just give you some feedback.

we have a 2000 5 speed GXL 3.4 that we had converted from a guy in Nambour Qld 12 months ago. instead of the standard size tank, he grafted a Sprint gas Patrol tank into by slightly packing out the mounting brackets i understand. but it means that we have a 90-95 litre tank with 85 or so useable. around town (when the wife drives it and her right foot is fairly heavy), we get around 400 - 450 kms per tank. on a trip loaded but without a trailer, we get around 600kms. our gauge is not great, 1st 100kms the gauge doesnt move, we red light but still have 100-150kms before it starts to splutter. ground clearance is reasonably good although i would like to lift it by a couple of inches to be sure. over all, the running of the car is great, servicing the same. if we load it with a trailer like recently with a car trailer and car, we only got 360kms per tank, but it was dragging nearly 2t.

generally, i would do it again if i needed to
