The A/C compressor packed it in on the way down to see the Rock a few weeks back, I had to cut the belt as the clutch was melting and toxic smoke was entering the cabin. When we got home to Alice I was straight into tracking another down. The local mobs want $1000+ for compressor only and managed to track a guy down in Rocky who can get a new one for less then $600 including freight. Ive got a mate who reclaimmed the gas, found another work mate who will gas it up. Problem is, anybody taken one out before in the 95s? Its in a bugger of a spot. As its below the power steer and above the bash plates I take it will have to come out below, any tips would be great.
