  • Relocating the charcoal canister

Can any tell me if there would be a problem when relocating my charcoal canister to the drivers side, if I was to leave the dump valve on the passengers side. I would then only need to extend the atmospheric and fuel tank hoses as well as the hose from the top of the canister to the dump valve?

    Re: Relocating the charcoal canister

    Hi Prado Zimm,
Relocating the charcoal cannister will be ok as long as you use fuel resistant hoses etc.
Depending on which model prado you have the existing mounting bracket allows you to mount it on the drivers side near the brake master.
If you have ABS, Ttaction Control and/or Cruise control you will need to custom make a bracket or use a smaller cannister
