  • 2.7L Petrol and 3.0L Diesel CV's

    Hey guys

I just blew a CV. I picked one up from the wreckers which 2.7L RV model and mine is a 3.0L Diesel. And I'm just wondering if these will fit.

    Thanks

    Andy

    Andy,

You can use ToyoDIY to check/cross reference the part numbers.

      Thanks Mick

Looks like they'll fit without a problem.

Just took a look a the Hilux (current shape) CV's, which monster rides . Looks like the same outboard joint as the 90 series (and 120 series) prado. I wonder if the heavy duty cv's from monster rides will fit.

Different spline on the Hilux units apparently.

Fitted the CV didn't have to many problems and it's pretty easy, the hardest part was finding a mate with a 35mm or 1 3/8 socket to remove the wheel nut.

            Thanks for the Help
