  • Dings - I hate them !!!!

Does any one have a quick solution for minor dings? You know, the ones that are too small for the body shop, yet big enough to see when you are looking at the car from either front or back?

Is there any way I can take care of these myself? Can I take out the interior panels and bang them from the inside out? I once saw a kit at an auto store in the US, I was not convinced, thinking back, maybe I should have bought it, it was only $17.99, worth a try.

The shops here are asking for a lot of money to do this work, unjustifiable given the low purchase price, if I needed to spend that much money I would have gone for a new car...

    Cheers.

Try paintless dent removal. They use a something that rolls the dent out slowly from the inside out.
They sometimes have to remove trims depending where the ding is. I had this done on my other car when i noticed a ding in the show room. I didn't pay for it of course but it is around $80.00

That is reasonable. The A$$ that owns the dentless repair shop here is demanding USD $120.00 per panel, whether it has one or a hundred dents. It is a bit pricy is I want to do the doors and the two front venders. I am goind to ask how much the originals decals cost, maybe I can hide the dents behind them.

      Cheers.
