  • My Toyota Landcruiser!

Hi guys, I am new to the forum and from the UK.

Here a few pics of my cruiser! Hope you enjoy.

A few subtle mods, like the 20" wheels, I do not off roading and Live In milton keynes (the land of roundabout!)

Upgraded the rear lights to clear lense.... They look good at night!

Overall, it is coming up to 150,000 miles on the clock and running well, other than I think the head is cracked again, even though lately is doesn't seem to be using water....

Very good nick. The paint looks like it went on a few days before the photos and those clear rear lights look great too! Why they call it a Colorado I will never know....

Looks brand new, compared to our 1999 Snowy with 175+k it looks 1000% times better. However, has yours ever been off tar? English roads are not exactly rough, no matter where you go. Wish ours was as good condition!

Nice one Beau. Looks like low profiles. What diameter are they? You should come down under and see what Prados were built for. Shame not to get them dirty once in a while. Is that spare wheel cover a big warning reflector? Sure is bright.

          Cheers

            Thanks guys,

They tyre size I am running at the moment is 295 45 20, very wide!
I think the next set I get will be 305 50 20, which are the size in the latest amazons and are more chunky.

I dont go offroading, have been to a few sites where I needed to cross through mud ect and these wheels have working fine. Other than that, its just the towing that I do every know and then. As I dont do any off roading these wheels are better as there is not much flex and hardly and leaning. I have also modified the lower anitroll bar's as it had snapped so I shortened it slightly and it hardly no lean. I have also got some heavy duty Rancho shock on the rear with 9 ajustable settings.

And why they call them colorado's I dont know.... It's in a P reg so its a 1997, so its nearly 15 years old with 250,00 km on the clock.

The next thing I might do is rebuild the engine, as it lacks the power in the high range, especially on the highway going up hill. Other that she has never let me down.

However I might be getting rid of her soon as I might be moving to america. Contemplating shipping her over there....? How much do you guys think she is worth?

Interior is like new, I also added carpet over the original mats ect so the original mats are like new!

I need some centre caps for them!

These were my previous ones, They were nice but I like the stainless steel dish.
