factory option numbers?

Just bought my first Prado! A 1997 GXL and it has factory options listed as numbers in the service book, but no reference to what the numbers are.

Is there a list of what these numbers represent anywhere?

Have you tried googling them.

Also have a look in the drivers door jam, there should be some silver stickers, these are for recalls that have been rectified, if there are none there, contact Toyota, and give them your chassis number, they should have a record that says if a recall has been done.

Google has nothing that I can find. I will talk with Toyota ... I thought they might not be overly helpful with older vehicles.
