Economy on gas?

Hi
Anyone have any figures for LPG? Mine is running on the old system, not the injected system and I am getting around 300 km per tank of gas around town running a pretty standard car. The highway is a little better, not by much. 330-340. (69 litre tank)

Hi. I have a 2005 4.0 V6 on LPG with 80 litre tank (64 litre at auto cut out). I get around 15 litres per 100km. The system is an injected one. Cheers.

Hey i have the same set up as you and get about 320k's from a tank around town. Yesterday i drove up the Stuart Highway, not towing but the back was fully loaded, and got around 380k's per tank. It was also very windy most of the way which wouldn't help the consumption
Mine was only getting 270 from a tank for a while so i went to my mechanic, he adjusted a couple of settings which improved economy. Hope this helps

I had my 97 grande on gas and around town was pretty much 280k from the tank, long run just under 400, on the beach friggin useless you could watch the guage move, less power, drank like a fish, so when ever on beach would run petrol. Must admitt the gas saved me one day when out on a day trip with PP. My alternator shat itself due to mud so flicked to LPG and turned everything off that consumed power and drove from Newcastle to home Penrith on LPG, as its venturi system (like a crby) no injectors were needed so turned off reserve tank fuel pump as well got me home. I hated the LPG (some love it each to their own) but felt like I was forever filling up and some of the LPG pumps at the servos would drive me insane especailly on a hot day. If going on a long run I would fill the tank as quick as possible but when it got to the last 5L I would trickle fill this stopped the cut off from cutting in quickly and I would squeeze another 7L in the tank but this was only when it was cold or going on a long run. It was only 63L useable but would get 70 at slow fill. They dont do an injection system for the 95 series (not when I had myn done anyway) only the 120 as they have a plastic inlet manifold and wont handle the extra heat of the LPG hence why it needs to be injected in the 120's........Cheers Steve
