  • Lifespan of diesel 90 series

So I got my 2001 diesel 90 series a year ago, stock standard, and after a year of 4wding there are a few toys I'm wanting to add to it...bullbar, lift etc. The only thing that I'm cautious about is that it has 240,000 kms on it (30k of which are mine) and I'm not sure how long they are supposed to last. It still goes pretty solidly and I've never had any problems with it, but are there any generally accepted ideas about how long they can live for?
    Cheers

If you look after it, it will look after you, just do regular servicing and all will be good, you would at least get another 240000k's out of her.

Mine has 270k miles on it, which is 430k kilometres. Still going good on the original 1KZTE with no major faults at all and no oil consumption between 10k services.
Replaced Rad a while back and the usual starter/battery/brakes but apart from that its golden.
I do need to get the front lower arm bushings sorted as they have started to squeak but thats probably to be expected.
