hi i have a 1998 prado with a leather steering ,which is worn though,would a steering wheel off a 2002 hilux fit?would the spline be the same? cheers tim

The shaft would be the same, the boss may also match. If you have airbags you will have to be very careful doing the swap or pay someone qualified to do the job, They can cause alot of damage if set off.

Why not take it off and get it recovered?

hi ,they want about $400 to recover it , and need it for 3 days ,as it is my daily driver i can"t be without it ,so there is a brand new one for a 2002 hilux on "trade me" for $300 just trying to take the easy way out,ask at the local toyota dealer but they put it in the to hard basket cheers tim
