Just put the Prado on LPG (my 9th Dual-Fuel vehicle) & so far, so good. Can't pick any difference in performance, the conversion is quite neat & even with Gas at 73.9 cpl running costs are halved. It's an Impco Mixer System, cost:$3500-00. I'd've preferred a belly-cylinder & kept the bigger petrol tank but this is the kit that Impco make (gone are the days of custom systems, apparently) & I've still got around 1000km range if necessary.

Good for you. My Feb 2011 3.4 LPG conversion has still been a success, although in Brisbane, LPG jumped from 65.9c/l to 89.9c/l in the last 2 months . At this rate my payback will climb from around 20 000km to about 30 000km. Then again, this gas jump may precede a big jump in ULP anyway.
I achieved around 17l/100km on a big snow trip with around 150 - 200kg load in the car at 110km/h, now seeking a little better economy after screwing in the large gas flow screw in the pipe leading into the throttle body.
Even if I break even financially with the conversion, I am less concerned driving the car now due to its lower running cost, plus I'm producing less CO2, even at my slightly higher consumption. Enjoy!

On ULP mine was doing a steady 21mpg, on E10 it was 19mpg. On LPG it's averaging 16mpg which equates to a $30-00 + saving every week, not factoring in trips. So it'll take me about 2 years to "pay off" the conversion costs. Our Territory with Vapour Injection is doing 18mpg but cost an extra $1000-00 to fit, so much of a muchness. Happy with it so far. It's going just as well on gas as petrol, so no complaints.
