  • 90 Series RV Bull Bar fit GXL?

    G'day

Im wondering if a Genuine Bullbar on a 90 Series RV will fit a 90 Series GXL. Has anyone had experience in this? I have read a few past posts on this but cant find a clear answer.

    Any advice much appreciated.

    Regards
    Ben

It should fit fine but it will look a bit odd because the flares will jut out further than the bar. I know the ARB bar from an RV will fit a GXL with the aforementioned problem. I'm not certain about the OEM toyota bar but I can't see why it won't work.

The difference between an RV and GXL bar will only be in relation to the overall width. The gxl having the factory flares is a little wider approx 25mm either side, the RV being a little narrower due to having no flares. On my previous RV6 i had the opposite with the fitment of a TJM type 15?GXL bar that was wider but i got away with it as i fitted RV flares as well.
So an RV bar will fit [ie bolt on] but may be a little narrower than the outer edge of the gxl flare.
