  • 3rd row seat removal?

    Hi
Just bought a Diesel 2000 TD 90 series without an owners manual.

Can anyone tell me how to unclip the 3rd row seats?
I have the rear catch which I can see actuating a lever inside the side hinge assembly but I can't see how to actually disengage the seat from the axle.
Any help appreciated while I wait for Mr Toyo to get me a manual.

    cheers

      Thanks Glen
Had seen that one but I've had no luck with it.
I gather that the having folded everything up and released the latch, the seat should slide forward a bit and then lift out.
Well I can't slide it forward at all so I thought there might be a trick to it?

Is the sliding part done with the seat vertical, horizontal or somewhere in between?

From experience I can confirm it's a prick to do the first few times.. or perhaps always!

          Definitely fold eveything up.

I usually sit down with my knees on the floor, the seat resting on my legs, a large screwdriver down the hole to hold the lever down, and then use my body to FIRMLY push the seat forward.

            Thanks for that.
Finally discovered the sweet spot at about 30 degrees up and then it can slide forward.
            Bugger of a thing.
