""Thankfully there are less LPG incidents than burning Jeeps of late!"" I found that comment amusing as when I opened the email reply an add for jeep wranger is/was to the right of your reply........ I've seen a few of those 2.7P go up (only going by pictures) think there was one of Stockton beach a few years ago. My system was suppose to be fitted by a reputable gas place, the tank switches, gauge, filler neck etc looked extremely tidy, Problem with mine on a hot day was it would expand back up the filler neck across into the hole which was for the original 90 main then drop out from the original rubber filler hose which originally went to the 90 main and then drip on the ground, this did have a yellow cap over the top of it with a pin hole in it to allow for the supposidly fumes to escape and I saw exactly the same set up on all 3 other prados I looked at the only difference some had red caps not yellow. this is supposidly how the original system worked it would just expand between the two tanks and the breather wasnt touched on the reserve tank ??? Anyway it certainly has turned me off ever having it again. The 120's with the V6 4L can only have injected not venturi like I had as the 120 has a plastic inlet manifold and cant handle the extra heat the gas produces. When I had the LPG fitted to my 90 injected wasnt available, not sure now or if its still the older venturi system only ?? It did get me out of trouble once when we had a day out with PP and I filled the alternator up with mud, I turned everything possible off, told the wife either have the window up or down, no aircon flixed over to LPG and drove from Newcastle to Penrith with no alternator and got all the way home, If I had to run the petrol, injectors etc I wouldnt have made it as running all that would have flattened before I got home for sure. Did fix the alternator, jammed the hose into for 1/2 hour flat knackers and it must have dislodged the mud as the light went out and never had another issue with it, maybe just lucky........Cheers Steve
