where does backup gas tank go??

I've got a 97 3-door Prado and while I was changing the oil today I gave a once over from down below and was wondering where they put the backup gastank?

Or is there not one for the 3-door? Any one put an aftermarket in?

I think the 3-door only has a single tank.
