Had a new steering rack, clutch slave and master cylinders fitted last week. The old steering rack was leaking fluid everywhere and the clutch was intermittently sticking to the floor. $1761 fitted :-(

Thanks guys! Yeah you mere mortals could probably handle this. At the end of the day you need to know your power, ground, lock, unlock, brake and door trigger wire. Thats it. There are two "antennas" mounted in the roof with the option of a third. I suggest the use of the third in the Prado.
Thats an antenna for Left, Right and Rear of the car.

Some of you might remember me fitting my car with water injection?
I can give you guys a bit more of an update on this also...
I'm currently returning a steady ~15% reduction in fuel consumption. (Remember the car had excessively heavy consumption to begin with)
But here is a side by side comparison photo to show you guys...
more like top and bottom comparison...
This is when I removed the LIM after 352,000 kms. No cleaning has been done. When I put the LIM back on, I did nothing more than give it a wipe to get rid of the excess.
This evening... 363,000kms.
These valves have received no cleaning from me what so ever.... You can see that there was a steady coating of carbon build up on them but is slowly being chipped away. Some valves were cleaner... some were dirtier. But all showed signs of improvement.

Pretty hard to pin me down anywhere except for new workshop in the CBD. The water injection is nothing more than some vac hose, Mt Franklin water bottle and flow valve. It was done for experimental purposes and now that I know, I'm going to look into a more permanent solution.
Feel free though to also stick your head in and check out the Push to Start, Proximity Keyless Entry and the Remote Start Alarm system! Always happy to show off my gadgets! lol

Nah no method injection just straight water. I'm happy with the results. The only change I'm considering is a low water level light and auto shit of valve when empty so it's not ducking unmetered air if it runs out of water. This will happen when I find a decent size water bottle and a permanent mounting.
In other news, I've had the injectors out and had them cleaned ultrasonicaly and then rebuilt. Wow. $250 well spent....
Finally... another short video for you all. I drop a swear word accidentally starting with S and ending in T so keep that in mind when clicking play...
