  • Milford Cargo Barrier

    Hi,

    I have a 2000 TD RV Prado and I have brought a Milford Cargo Barrier of ebay for it. Does anyone have photos or know where the fitment points are for this to make life a little bit easier when fitting it.

    Cheers in advance

      Did you get just the cargo barrier or the fitting kit as well?

      If you didn't get the fitting kit - all the nuts and bols/etc you can buy one
      for about $90 from memory....

          I should have install instruction for 120 series cargo barrier somewhere,
          but you'll have to make up some bits to make up for the firtting kit parts...
          or find 90 series at the wreckers which has cargo barrier fitted to it...

            i bought a milford cargo barrier 2nd hand, and it only came as;
            barrier, and the 4 mounting bars.
            so i checked out the pics that others on the forum had posted (just showing their different barriers), and went to and mounted mine where i thought it best and easiest. also i didn't have to drill the cargo trims.
            worked out good.
            the upper mounts;
            i removed the 3rd row grab handles and made a plate from 4mm flat aluminium and mounted it using both grab handle bolt holes (and remounted grab handles with longer high tensile bolts), and mounted the top barrier brackets to this.
            (someone had a pic of their like this on the forum. do a search)
            and bottom bars;
            again made a bracket that mounted to the cargo area front tie-down points (refitting the tie-downs with longer HT bolts), and mounted to this.
            it's not how milford do it, but it looks neater and is bloody strong.
            best of all if i had to part with the truck (wouldn't be my choice),
            no damaged trims.
            worked for me and took about an hour to install (including making the brackets). to remove it now, about 5 minutes work

              im just wondering if anyone can confirm the cargo barrier i have is for a 120. i plan to check with milford but thought someone might be able to help out.
              The yrs of manufacture on the placard is 11/2002, is that necessarily a 120? If it is i need to sell it but i cant seem to confirm that its a 120. :evil:

                  Milford Cargo Barrier

                  Damonat,

                  Sounds great what you have done. The barrier has the brackets but no bolts, so no big deal. Do you have any photos of yours.

                        Milford Cargo Barrier

                        Thanks to everyone for their replies, barrier went in yesterday in about 30 mins. A very easy job. Didn't have to drill one hole just used extisting brackets and holes.

                        Cheers
