  • why dosn't the tx model have idle up switch?

Hi guys as the title says my 2001 tx auto dosn't have a idle up switch, but I've noticed on the rv & glx models it dose.
I've tired to do some research but couldn't find anything.
    Thanks David

Id say because you have an auto. I have a GLX auto and no idle up.

I had a look on carsales and found 90 series glx with idle up switch in auto & a tx auto with no idle up switch.
All the models in auto on car sales have the idle up switch except tx model.
I really want to know why if it's the same motor etc.

I believe idle up was for climates that are cooler along with twin batteries. The one without idle up may of been for Australian market.
