  • Urgent Question on Toyota Land Cruiser Series Numbers..Help

 Hello All at Pradopoint. I am asking this question for a Farmer neighbour of mine who owns a Toyota Landcruiser. I have been trying to get a set of Front Window Wind Deflectors for him, but on both occasions, I have ended getting the wrong type. I think the series is a J95 and I keep getting a J120 set from suppliers. I am not familiar with Toyota vehicles/Series Numbers, so I need some advice/confirmation that the vehicle that my neighbour has is a Land Cruiser Series J95.
The vehicle Chassis number is JTEBZ99JX00034540 and on the Plate under the hood is the number KDJ95R-GKMNYW....It is a 2003 model and has 5 doors. It is also a 'Commercial' version in so far as there are no rear seats...This is a special Vehicle Taxation Classification in Ireland...
I would be really appreciative if someone out there could advise me as to this vehicle's Series...etc.
The vehicle states on the rear that it is a Land Cruiser GX...
One Final question...What exactly is a LandCruiser J120 Series..I ask this as I have now 2 Sets of Front Window Wind Deflectors for sale and I need to advertise for the correct model/series...
Thanks in Advance for your time in reading this request and possibly/Hopefully answering my query...
    Peter...

Here is something I found when I googled. This is a listing from a Polish website.
    LANDCRUISER 90 3000TDi 16V D-4D 2000-2002 KDJ95R 1KDFTV

Going by that it is a 95 series 3 litre Diesel.
For better info google your information and see what results you get.

    cheers

Information on J95 Received with Thanks...

Hello MTPockets & Trojan, Firstly, Thank you both for the excellent and informative replies. They clarify the vehicle in question considerably....
You are actually correct in stating that it is a 2002 model, because while it was purchased in 2003 and registered then with a 2003 Plate...it is indeed a 2002 manufacture...
Am i correct in thinking therefore, that a J120 is simply the same Land Cruiser model as the J95 except that it is the later 2003+ model's...
      Thanks Again Gentlemen.....

        No its not the same.
The 95 series is a different car. The 120 was released here in Australia in September 2003. Your 95 series was built in 2002 and was the last of its series by the looks of it.
