Hi all,
Just wondering - since I had my 2.7L converted to gas, installed a subtank that came out of a V6 - and it seems to run quite rough on petrol. I took it back to the gas place for re-tuning and they told me its possible the fuel pressure provided by the subtank to the V6 engine is different to the fuel pressure requirement of the 4cyl 2.7L. Does anyone know if this is the case?
I want to redo the fuel line connection tomorrow because I'm not happy with it, but if it continues running rough after that I'm not sure what to do next.
I was told by a mechanic that:
-They can do a fuel pressure test on the tank pump to confirm its right for the 2.7L
-It could be clogged injectors (since they run hotter with LPG?)
-Sometimes after running on LPG for a while cars generally dont run well on petrol? Is there any other reason for this?
I'll post more as I progress... might be of use to someone
