Knocking feeling through steering ???

Gday there all.

Got a problem with my 90 series thats annoying me.

I have a knocking sound/feeling through my steering colum which has been there for ages and doesnt seem to be getting any worse but Id like to have it fixed.

I just got ARB to install OME suspension throughout and told them of the problem but they couldnt find anything.
On one of the other Prado sites mentions that 90's have had a problem with their steering racks / or steering rack rubbers which apparently are expensive to fix.

Anyone had any similar experiences with the knocking "oh what a " feeling ??

I believe that it's caused by a fabric connection inside the steering shaft tube. I remember someone else having the same problem on another forum.
