    six speed gearbox on ebay ! Looks Interesting !!

    Anyone Interested ? There a Six Speed Gearbox for Auction which can be installed on any prado diesel motor from 1996 to 2008 as all the diesel motor including the D4D has the same gearbox to engine mounting point

    Somebody going to get a good Bargain !!

        I was very tempting to do it at one stage before finishing the conversion was told by a mate about the diff ratio will be different and so would,nt be good but recently I spoke to a Guy at Gearbox speicalist sydney and he reckons it will be ideal as the 1st gear will be easier on the engine as well 4th gear is exactly the same as the o5 speed gearbox and would be giving a lower rpm at top gear and the d4d will be fine as the diff ratio is the same in the 90 series as in the 120 series at the end of the day I was tempting to put the six speed in and sell the 5 speed gearbox but i have run into finance issues basically desperate for cash

        If I dont sell it i,ll probably will go ahead and throw the six speed in and sell the 5 speed which I think will be easier ??
        lets see how the Ebay auction go !!

        Reallythis gearbox is a bargain !! what can you do when you have a wife who ate up the credit card !! sighetd !!

          I'd love to buy it from you but I'd get shot by the wife.. :cry: :cry:

          I think my modified 1kz could handle the extra gear


          I see it includes the transfer case... bargain....
