Remove Roof Rails

Hi Guys,

Recently purchased a full length roof rack for my KZJ95.

Unfortunately it looks like they forgot to mention it won't fit it with roof rails on. The brackets don't sit level.

So, anyone removed the roof rails from their vehicle? Any nasty surprises? Did it effect stiffness at all? Tips on plugging the holes?

90/95 series has roof rails? Thought they were gutter mounted roof racks.

Yup, mine is TX. It has gutters and roof rails.
