thanks again guys wil pursue to change those bulbs, using the ect and 2nd power button Ill try soon let u know how it goes

Have 01 grande diesel auto, the lights on the auto shift including the two buttons should all light up when you have the headlight/parker switch turned on. I have never used the second gear button start, it is used for snow to stop wheel spin (wouldnt use in sand as it takes the initial grunt from the power to get going in the sand), the other button is for the power shift on the auto box which as mentioned above holds it in each gear longer and makes the shift more responsive when putting the boot into it. I do use this when climbing hills like mooney mooney or hawksbury as it stops it hunting a bit between overdrive and drive. Regards Steve
