Steering Wheel Replacement

Hi all.

I have a non airbag 2001 GXL (with cruise control) I am on my second leather steering wheel, Mr T replaced my original under warranty. Both wheels have suffered from the leather discolouring (almost black) and peeling, I use leather cleaner and a windscreen sunshield. Now I need a third!! wheel, as I do not believe in covers.

Can anybody tell me if a wheel from a 100 series or a 120 series will fit? I was thinking that one of the late model ones with four spokes and the black leather chrome trim (airbag type) would be the go. I can modify the electronics if need be, and do not need a functioning airbag (as my car is not so equipped)

Any help with my problem would be greatly appreciated.

I had simular problem with an old MG, I just had it recovered at a Saddlery he used off cuts it only cost me about $20
