Hi I have a 1997 prado 3.4 auto and have had lpg fitted about 3 months ago Im very pleased with it .The tank holds 78 ltrs useable and I get 400klms a tank around town and 450 klms on a trip .I cant tell any difference in power between petrol or lpg, I live in Perth W.A. if you would like a closer look ....Regards Steve

I seem to remember someone mentioned a while ago that you loose about 4cm of clearance... not sure on that though.

SKB... did you loose much :?: ... if any.
    Cheers, Leon

      tank

Yes i did loose some departure angle, the tank would be as low as the diff I have had it in deep ruts in sand on the beach and it was ok didnt touch but I would be careful on rocky stuff.I have been told there is a smaller tank that sits higher with more clearance.

I don't have LPG, but I've looked at a few prados with LPG and it does look like you could loose quite a lot of ground clearance / departure angle, depending on the tank size of course. I'm considering LPG with a 2" body lift.
