Good Afternoon fellow Prado Owners!!
Just a quick post to say gday and introduce myself. My name is Albert (Alby for short) and I am currently located in the ACT (hopefully moving to VIC soon)
My ride is:
YEAR: 1996
MAKE: TOYOTA
MODEL: LANDCRUISER PRADO GXL
MODIFICATIONS:
Engine: Dual Petrol/Gas operation.
Exterior: 2" Lift kit
Alloy Rims
Interior: Focal 6" Splits, Focal Rear Speakers
240V Inverter
Upgraded Entertainment unit (GPS+IPOD+MP3 soon to be installed)
Due to a breakdown, the car has been off the road for the past few months. Apparently my clutch (with 10,000 Kms on it) decided it did NOT want all 4 springs in the clutch plate, and donated a spring to the pressure plate housing... Long story short, I have finally managed to procure a desireable clutch (OEM spec, not OEM brand though) and just this morning finished putting the whole shabang back together (and promptly took it for a quick test drive up the road... then into the paddock... then into 4L... then... well you get the idea .
I would like to thank you guys for all of the information located on this forum, it was fundamental in some of the decisions made in the general purchase of the clutch and repairs. I look forward to catching up with some other Prado owners out and about
Cheers!
