Hi Guys wondering if anyone could tell me how often should I put the prado into 4wd mode. I heard it should be done every now and then so things dont seize up. But what is often? Once a month, Once every 6 months or more times during the year. Thanks any replies

Re: Not using the 4wd often
Mate, fairly certain they are a constant 4X4, so the transfer case should be continuously pumping fluid and oil around. In relation to low range, I am yet to hear of any damage caused by lack of usage (unless you dont have any oil in the transfer case, and try to use it after 15 years of never moving the car  )
just my 2 cents worth

yes, Prado is 4wdFulltime. You even can see this OEM sticker somewhere around yr rig. Mine is at the right bottom of the rear window.
Just in my case, I bought the car for 1/2 year and never done low range. And I am pretty sure the car did not get off-road for at least 2 years before I bought it because the owner was an old man without interest of off-road. Anyway, when I first use the low range, it worked very well.

Re: Not using the 4wd often
I think the OP is talking about moving the selector lever to make sure it doesn't freeze up from non use.
My suggstion would be to move it once a month or so and at the same time get your car onto the lawn or some dirt so you can drive a little to make sure the indicator light for "4wd locked" comes on and goes off
