Aftermarket Steering Wheel And Factory Cruise??

I want to fit an aftermarket steering wheel to my 97 GXL. There's no airbag to worry about, but I want to retain the original cruise contol setup. Has anyone successfully done this?

G'day Smally. I found a custom boss kit That had cruise control installed in it, I bought it off eBay about 2 yrs ago and fitted a sports steering wheel to it. It's worked fine ever since I installed it. I believe it was made in Japan and was imported by an auto store will try and find the actuall name but maybe do a google search but definitely can be done very easily.
