  • My hidden winch setup

Installing a winch has been on my mind for a long time, but when I came across this 80series Aisin 1000 take out, I was adamant to install it.

I must say that the task was not as easy as I thought it would be.

    1st, off went the bumper

& other items to bare the frame and all

dry stool fix to see & measure things

I had anticipated that the base plate of the winch will bolt right on, but i was wrong as there are no frame horns on the 90 and its frame seems to be broader than the 80's

Now I need to work on the electricals & hook it up ......... that way i'll know if it even works or not

Then the bumper needs to be put back on. Either i'll cut the original one or fabricate side pieces merged into the front plate of the winch.

Don't know if I should cut the original one up.
